Frequently asked questions

Got questions about hitting the trails with Treeline Motorsports? Find everything you need to know about our fleet requirements, transportation expectations, safety gear, deposits, and cancellation terms below.

What are the minimum age and driver's licence requirements?

The minimum rider age is 16 with required adult supervision. Every renter must present a valid Class 5 driver's licence, although a Class 6 licence is strongly preferred.

Do I need prior dirt bike experience to rent?

Yes, all riders must have prior dirt bike riding experience to ensure their own safety and the proper handling of our trail bikes, including our Yamaha TTR230 and Honda CRF250F models.

Is a damage deposit required for rentals?

Yes, a refundable damage deposit of $1,000 is required for each rental bike before departure, which will be released upon return in proper condition.

What rental insurance coverage options are offered?

We offer two straightforward insurance options for your ride: basic coverage or comprehensive coverage to give you peace of mind while enjoying the trails.

Do you provide safety gear such as helmets, boots, and goggles?

We do not currently supply riding gear, so you must bring your own protective gear. Dedicated gear rental packages will be introduced into our service in 2027.

How does pickup and transport work from Red Deer?

All customers must provide their own truck and/or trailer suitable for securely hauling and strapping down the dirt bikes from our Red Deer location.

What is the cancellation policy if my plans change?

We require at least 24 hours of advance notice to cancel your reservation. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee equal to 50% of the rental booking cost.

What happens if someone fails to show up for their reservation?

No-shows are held responsible for the entire booking amount and will be charged 100% of the full reservation price.
